FLV video files are used by sites like YouTube and Google Video to display videos directly in your browser window. While FLV files are very handy for watching video on demand, inside these sites, many people may not have the ability to play FLV files that are downloaded to their own computers. Riva FLV Encoder solves this problem by converting the FLV into the different video formats named above. These formats, AVI, MPEG, and the like, are much more compatible with desktop media players such as QuickTime, Windows Media Player, and VLC.
