Once you've got your workflow set it's a simple task to take an entire folder worth of images (doesn't matter if it's ten or ten-thousand) and create thumbnails, watermarked detail images, and contact sheets of the whole lot.  And because it's not taking the time (or CPU cycles) to display each image it's lightning fast.

I have clients that submit jobs with anywhere from 800 images to over 30,000 and image magick just cruises through them.</description>
