@Jackie Martin Yes, that is normal. I don’t find it to be a problem because I always read through the document looking for errors and reformatting as I go. The software is not perfect, and some words and phrases are bound to get mangled.

Thank you for the information. This has saved me a lot of time. I do have some questions. When the scanned text appears in MODI, it is formatted just like the original. However, when I send the text to word, the formatting is not retained. Is that normal or am I doing something wrong?
