In order to move your iTunes library to a new location, you must do the following things:

  1. Locate your iTunes library and xml data file.
  2. Get the full URL encoded URI to the new location of your music files.
  3. Edit your iTunes xml data file with this URI.
  4. Launch iTunes and re-import your media.
