JPEG & PNG Stripper is an lightweight Windows application that will strip the exif meta data from a JPG or PNG image file. Just drop & drop a set of image files onto JPEG & PNG Stripper and the program will go to work. The program could prove useful to anyone who is concerned about privacy or does not want to divulge information about their photography workflow.

The meta data remove by JPEG & PNG Stripper includes a variety of camera settings and informational fields. The meta data saved to an image by your camera includes exposure settings, the camera serial number and any custom settings you have enabled. Meta data added by post production software such as Adobe Photoshop can include any of the adjustment settings you might have made to the picture. And finally, this meta data will also include any keywords, descriptions, labels or ratings you might have applied. All of this information will be removed by JPEG & PNG Stripper.

Remember: JPEG & PNG Stripper may remove any embedded copyright information that you added to your image files.
