Fix Blurry Images with Unshake

Monday, February 4, 2008

Unshake is a small, free utility for fixing blurry and out-of-focus digital pictures.

Blurry photos occur when a camera’s shutter speed is not fast enough to freeze a moving subjects or the photographer’s shaking hands. This is common when using Automatic settings in low light environments. Picture quality may also suffer when the subject is not in focus. Unshake claims improve image quality in both of these situations.

Unshake is available for Windows, Mac, and Unix. It is primarily a Java program, but is also distributed in C for Linux users.
