Download MySpace, YouTube, or Other Web Videos to Your iPod

Thursday, January 11, 2007

The iTube FireFox extension (link via Digital Inspiration) does one very simple task that will satisfy anyone who spends time on social networking websites like YouTube and MySpace. iTube downloads video from these websites, converts it to a format that your iPod understands, and then sends that iPod-compatible video to your iTunes library via a playlist. The next time you sync up your iPod, your YouTube videos will go along for the ride. There you have it: download video from the web, carry it in your pocket. Simple, slick, and to the point.
