		<description>Under a base install of linux you can mount iso&#039;s like any other media using mount -t auto /dev/hda(1) -o loop /mnt/cdrom(2)

1) can also be /dev/cdrom or /dev/dvd depending on your flavor of linux
2) can be mounted anywhere really, just mkdir /dir/dirname and replace /mnt/cdrom with your new folder.

you&#039;ll only run into failures if your kernel wasn&#039;t compiled with iso9660 or udf support.</description>
