What to do when your RAM is 2.5GB, your system is barely using 500MB of it, and still the "low virtual memory" message appears?
I am using WinXP Pro, and since I have enough RAM memory, I decided to decrease the pagesys file, but unless I decide not to use virtual memory, I keep getting this message all the time... does anyone know about this?

Glad to hear the nagging has stopped! You can also disable notification area balloons across the board:

That's one of the first things I do whenver I'm installing a fresh copy of XP.

I've made a serious omission, sorry-- but to edit my comment, this article is actually even better than the RAM optimizer, as it's always best to first try to optimize your system and the way it handles memory issues. Thanks for the most inclusive and complete article on memory problems I've come across

I've been using freeRAM XP Pro for about a year now and it's the best thing since sliced bread. Although I got a nice big shiny new machine for xmas, it's still proving to be a handy RAM optimizer and sys info tool.
