Did you install Microsoft’s new Internet Explorer 7? Did you decide that you don’t like the new IE, only to further discover that uninstalling the software is a little tricky? Jeremy Schoemaker of ShoeMoney has the skills to uninstall IE7, as well as “the skills to pay the bills”:
If you try to do it just by going to add/remove software you wont find it. Here is how you have to do it:
- Go to Control Panel
- Click Add or Remove Programs
- Click Show Updates checkbox
- Click whatever version of IE7 you have. For example “Internet Explorer 7 Beta 2 Preview”
- Click the Change/Remove button
