The Styles and Formatting window will appear. The drop-down menu at the bottom of the window lets you choose which styles you want to see listed. To see everything, change this to All Styles.

Edit the Styles and Formatting

Right-click on the style you would like to edit and choose Modify….

Modify “Heading” to change the default style of all headers. You can then modify “Heading 1″, “Heading 2″ etc… to make changes to the individual levels of headers. Modify “Text”, “Text body” and “Text body indent” to make changes to the formatting of your basic body text.

The next window that opens will be the area where you make changes to the formatting of the particular text style you have chosen. You can modify font, spacing, indenting, alignment and more.
