Beware of Best Buy – Secret Internal Website Refutes Sales Prices

Saturday, March 3, 2007

Best Buy logoBest Buy has recently admitted to operating a secret internal web site, and customers report Best Buy employees used this site to deny them sales prices.

When Best Buy employees used this internal site to deny customers a $150 discount on computers advertised at the real BestBuy.com, the Connecticut State Attorney General initiated an investigation that revealed the secret intranet site.

Best Buy previously denied the existence of this site, and has not yet explained its purpose. They claim there was never any intention to defraud customers.

Yeah, right. I’ll believe that when me sh-t turns purple and smells like rainbow sherbet!

If you’re heading to Best Buy, or any other retail chain for that matter, make sure you bring a dated print-out as proof of the deal you’re chasing.
