Reader Gina e-mailed Of Zen and Computing yesterday, noting that she found the text on this site too small, and a little difficult to read. Many web designers have a penchant for small type, resulting in tiny text appearing across much of the Web. This doesn’t have to stop you from reading, however — most web browsers give you the power to enlarge or reduce the size of text. In most cases, clicking on “View” (which appears after “File” and “Edit”) will show you a menu containing options for text size adjustment.
Make Text Bigger in Mozilla Firefox
Click “View”, move the mouse over “Text Size”, and select either “Increase” or “Decrease”.
Make Text Bigger in Internet Explorer
Click “View”, move the mouse over “Text Size”, and then select a new size from the list that appears.
Make Text Bigger in Safari
Click “View”, then click on “Make Text Bigger” or “Make Text Smaller”.
Make Text Bigger in Opera
Click on “View”, click on “Zoom”, and then adjust the text size.
Make Text Bigger in Camino
Click on “View”, then click on “Make Text Bigger” or “Make Text Smaller”.

The Geek says:
The easiest way to increase font size is to just use these keyboard shortcuts:
Ctrl + (increase)
Ctrl - (decrease)
Ctrl 0 (reset)
They should work in all browsers, and I’ve found that a lot of regular users know about them.

Unfortunately, if the webmaster sets the font size in pixels,
which is very common today including many major web sites like hotmail.com,
Internet Explorer will not let you resize the text.
The IE text size menu will just do nothing.
I created a website with javascript bookmarklets that you can install
into your IE ‘Favorites list’ or ‘Links Toolbar’ that
will resize text that IE will not let you by just
clicking on the bookmarklet links. It’s free and works with
