This process doesn’t appear to be for the lighthearted, since it involves a number of different steps, reports, and conversions. According to Lifehacker, the reason for all the confusion is that Microsoft Money encrypts your file, and so there’s a lot of trickery that needs to go on in order to get the data out of Money and into Quicken. Even then, it’s possible to some data.

Nevertheless, follow the steps in this Quicken Support document if you’re looking to switch over from Microsoft Money.
