If you’ve never really looked into the features of iTunes, you might be under the impression that the Party Shuffle only randomizes your entire music library. Not true — you can also use iTunes’ Party Shuffle to randomize one specific playlist. I use this feature very often, because I have a wide variety of music in my library. When I’m in a grunge rock mood, I don’t want to hear 50 Cent, and when I’m in a classic rock mood, I don’t want to land on a Metallica track. To shuffle an iTunes playlist, follow Apple’s tutorial on how to DJ a party with iTunes:
“You can easily have the Party Shuffle playlist pull songs from any playlist you want by by choosing a playlist from the Source menu at the bottom of the Party Shuffle list.”
