Thunderbird, the e-mail companion of Firefox has officially reached version 2.0. The new version of Thunderbird features a redesigned interface that aims to make message reading easier, faster searches, a more secure extension system, easy access to various webmail services, Vista support, and more.
Outlook and Outlook Express users who simply use those e-mail clients because “they came with the computer” should seriously think about giving Thunderbird a shot at managing their e-mail. Thunderbird is a nice, clean, lightweight, and hassle-free application. I’ve been using Thunderbird at work for years, and can personally vouch for its quality.
