Yesterday I downloaded the latest Thunderbird (2,0,0,12) from mozilla,
onto my relibale Windows 98SE system.
This was a single file. On running
the extract process led consistentaly
to system freezes needing off/on to recover. Any attempts to remove the
download file or its containing file led
to similar crashes. Any advice please
(I do not want to repeat the trial with
the same consequences as this has been
significantly disruptive) ?
