Track Sports Schedules, Concerts, and More with Google Calendar

Thursday, June 7, 2007

Google Calendar logoGoogle has released the Google Calendar gallery, a searchable collection of calendars from which you can pluck interesting events, and then schedule them on your own calendar. In the Google Calendar gallery, you’ll find NBA schedules, concerts, DVD release dates, local events, and more.

Using the Google Calendar gallery is dead simple. Log in (or join and log in) to your Google Calendar, and then head over to the Google Calendar gallery. Click on any calendar that interests you, and it’s upcoming events will appear. Each time you click on an event for more information, you will have the opportunity to add it to your own Google Calendar.

At this point you might be asking “How do I get my calendar listed in the gallery?” Well, all you need to do is dive into your calendar settings and make it public. The article “How do I share my calendars with everybody?” gives detailed instructions on making your calendar publicly available.

For more information about the release of Google Calendar gallery, take a look at the official announcement: Spice up your schedule with Google Calendar gallery.
