Find out how much memory your computer has

Windows XP

1. Right-click on My Computer
2. A menu will open up - click on Properties.
3. Three quarters of the way down the screen you’ll see a section titled
4. Computer or Performance. This section will tell you how fast your CPU is and how much memory is installed.

Mac OS X

1. Click the Apple logo in the top left corner of your screen.
2. In the menu that appears, click on About This Mac
3. A new window will appear and tell you the speed of your processor and the amount of RAM that is installed, along with some other information.
