What to do When Windows Won’t Start

Anyone who’s used Microsoft Windows for any period of time can think back to times when their computer just would not cooperate. It’s a sad fact of computing life — from time to time almost all PC users have had issues getting Windows to boot up.

IT resource Tech Republic offers a few tips for dealing with an uncooperative Windows PC in “10 things you can do when Windows XP won’t boot“. IT Republic’s suggestions include fixing corrupt system files, restoring to a previously verified configuration settings, utilizing a startup disk, and more.
