Track Any Airplane Flight-in-Progress with Google

Tracking an airplane flight with GoogleFrom the totally awesome things to do with the Internet department comes the marriage of Google search and airplane flight data, bringing you near-real time updates on the status of any flight. Searching Google for a valid flight number yields a link to FBOWeb showing information such as altitude and estimated time of arrival. What’s more, FBO will give you a downloadable Google Earth file that graphically plots the flight on the globe.

To start searching for flight data with the big G, just type the flight number into Google and click on the link for FBOweb.
