New Firefox Extension for Social Media Enthusiasts

Sunday, September 16, 2007

Social Media for Firefox logoSocial Media for Firefox is an extension that pulls live stats from social media sites regarding each Web page you visit. The tools aims to make interaction with social media sites as simple as a click or two.

With the Social Media for Firefox extension, each page load is accompanied with it’s diggs, stumbles, del.icio.us bookmarks, and reddit votes displayed in-browser. You can submit the page you’re currently viewing to any of those social media sites by clicking on their icons, which are displayed in the browser’s status bar.

The Social Media for Firefox extension was built by Utah-based SEO firm 97th Floor. Despite the fact that their site features ridiculous copy such as “We Don’t Market Web Sites, We Blow Them Up!”, this Firefox extension seems like a nice tool for anyone who frequently participates in the aforementioned social media sites.
