Wondering how many contacts from your buddy list have Facebook profiles that you have yet to befriend? Using Facebook’s Friend Finder, you can search for your AIM buddies in Facebook’s database of member profiles.
To use this feature, log into Facebook, click on the Friends drop down menu, and select Find Friends.
This will load up a page titled “Find Your Friends on Facebook”. Click on AIM Instant Messenger. A form asking for your AIM screen name and password will appear.
Fill in your info and press the “Find Friends” button. Facebook will fetch your buddy list from AOL and scan their database for matching contacts. The results will show up on the next page, and you will be able to send out friend requests to any or all of your buddies.
