thanks for the tip! is it really easier to set up a password using a mac than a PC? i've been trying to set up a password for the longest time with the use of a PC but I'm having a hard time to set up one. It just took me one try with my Macbook and I was able to setup a password for my network easily.

so i was sitting at my desk watching my wifi signal flickering away wondering who the hell is on my network? i am directly connected and there are none of my other home computers online, so you see my concern. Granted it has been this way for a while (long while) without really any problems it still lingers in the back of my mind. So i finally decided to do something about it! And without have a clue on what to do i "Google" it, finding this little gem. I went thru the simple steps and just like that it worked! I am directly connected so I didnt get kicked off. So i go check the laptops downstairs before i leave my comment, the mac found like 6 other networks and automatically joined an open one. I hooked it up with my network and gave it the password, set it in the keychain and it was good to go. The Windows laptop still hasn't found the network (or any of them) and my lil bro is trouble shooting without much success. Typical it seems these days... GO MAC!!

P.S.
can't wait for the new 3G iPhone!!
