Halo 3 allows gamers to take and upload screenshots from their multiplayer matches, but the files often have a hard time making it to Bungie.net during times of high load.
Halo 3 has an amazing feature that records previously played multiplayer matches and allows the gamer to play back each match, pausing and rotating the camera at any point in order to take screenshots. During periods of high traffic, screenshots may not be available right away on Bungie.net. Bungie is working on the problem (and mostly solved it), but you still might experience missing screenshots when hundreds of thousands of gamers are all trying to upload at the same time.
A number of gamers have discovered that placing screenshots in your Halo 3 File Share expedites their availability on Bungie.net. Here is what to do:
- Navigate to your Halo 3 file share. You can also do this during matchmaking by pressing the select button and choosing your Gamer Tag.
- Select “File Share”.
- Choose a File Share slot, and upload a screenshot into that slot.
- Go to your computer, sign into Bungie.net, and click on your Halo 3 Service Record.
- Your File Share will be available in your service record, and contain your screenshots.
From the File Share, you are able to download full-size JPEGs of your Halo 3 screenshots.
