How to Load Google Calendar in Firefox’s Sidebar

Thursday, October 11, 2007

Google Calendar logoGCal affectionados can load a modularized version of Google’s Calendar in Firefox’s sidebar by following along with Lifehacker’s “Step By Step: Display Your GCal Agenda in Firefox’s Sidebar“.

The tutorial demonstrates how to configure a compact view of Google Calendar and display it in Firefox’s sidebar. The calendar view is similar to what you might expect to see on a mobile display, and fits very nicely in the narrow area of the browser’s sidebar.

If you use Google Calendar on multiple computers and wish to have the sidebar calendar available no matter where you are, you must repeat this process for each separate workstation.
