If you produce quality, original content on the Web, then you should take advantage of the popularity of social networking to expand the reach of your words online. Most social networking sites that allow members to share content make it pretty easy for a blogger or webmaster to code a link that submits a URL to their system. This article will teach you how to do exactly that with many of the most popular online destinations.

In order to construct a link that submits a Web page to one of these sites, you must deconstruct the URL of each’s submission page, and figure out which piece goes where. In each URL below, you will see placeholders that will need to be replaced with the URL ([URL]) and title ([title]) of your Web page. You should URL-encode this information, insert it into each desired submission URL, and then use the final product to make a hyperlink. For instance, here is a link that would submit this page to Digg:
