Sunday, April 22nd is Earth Day. If you, like many other computer people, have a wealth of old electronic devices and parts laying around, you might want to take inventory and decide what’s good and what you’re never going to use again. Instead of just throwing out those old electronics, consider doing the environment some good and recycling them.
Environmental site Earth 911 has a handy application that asks for your region or zip code, and returns the names and addresses of various locations based upon what type of equipment you’re recycling. Whether you need to getting rid of batteries, toner, printers, or entire computers, do the Earth a favor by recycling.
