Disk Usage Analyzer is a handy Linux tool for visualizing used and free space on storage devices, pointed out by technology blog Jatecblog. Using a graph of concentric circles, Disk Usage Analyzer (baobab) puts a picture of your disk’s capacity right next to it’s contents.
Of Zen and Computing has covered disk usage visualization on both Mac and PC in the past, but we thought this Linux-centric article might also appeal to our readers given the recent popularity of Ubuntu Linux. And for the hardcore Mac users who aren’t afraid to get down and dirty, it appears possible to get baobab to work on MacOS.
